Keep in mind that by uninstalling the app, you no longer have VPN access to your corporate network and your endpoint will not be protected by your company’s security policies. SonicWall Global VPN Client - Version 4.10.5. V4.10.5 - Windows 64bits. SonicWall Global VPN Client - Cleanup Utility. GVCUtil32.exe; GVCUtil64.exe.
Purpose
The SonicWALL Global VPN Client, or GVC, includes a network driver known as the Deterministic NDIS Enhancer, or DNE, driver. This driver binds to the network adapter in Windows. The normal SonicWALL Global VPN Client uninstaller doesn't always uninstall the DNE driver properly.
Updates
If the DNE driver is still present, users trying to install a newer version of the SonicWALL VPN client on the computer encounter an error message. Users need to run the official clean-up tool before installing the new version if the error message appears.
Download Location
Users can download the Global VPN Client Clean Up Tool from SonicWALL's support website. SonicWALL provides the 'GVCUtil32.zip' file for 32-bit versions of WIndows and the 'GVCUtil64.zip' file for 64-bit versions of Windows.
