Introduce yourself to my webcomic adaptation of a now-obscure classic MMO game: Toontown Online!

Disney's game Toontown Online, the first MMORPG for children, which takes place in a cartoon world populated with classic Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. It was introduced in 2003.
Fandom Apps Take your favorite fandoms with you and never miss a beat. Toontown Online is pretty much what it says in the title, a town full of toons, online! It's an MMORPG featuring falling flower pots, cream pies and evil robots hellbent on turning the world into a corporate wasteland. Unlike most MMORPGs, this one has a basic turn-based system and can literally make peoples' head explode. No literally, when a cog loses a battle, its head explodes!
This is going to be a unique take on the Tooniverse which will depict the original game’s characters and established lore through a different, previously unseen perspective, it’ll also add emotion and depth to the characters from the game who were mostly blank and just there to forward the player’s progress. This isn’t going to be an “AU” fanfic about some interesting fan character or another Toontown server’s storyline with a twist, it’ll be a true adaptation; a re-imagining of the original game’s storyline which will embrace the original game’s roots in Disney, Who Framed Roger Rabbit and the Golden Age of animation rather than simply ignore it. This is only the humble beginning of a much larger story I plan to tell.

Some time ago, Toontown, a peaceful town where its residents only wanted to have fun, was taken over by a legion of villainous robots: The “Cogs”. These business-obsessed Cogs want to rid Toontown of any of the fun and wackiness that remains within it, and soon enough, all that will remain is a corporate dystopia, where “fun” is a thing of the past…
To stop the Cogs, the citizens of Toontown equip themselves with “Gags” to defeat them, as anything funny appears to be their weakness. In this story, follow the journey of a group of young Toons who traverse Toontown to stop these Cogs once and for all!
